Catch–22, experimental typograhy booklet

Catch–22, Experimental typography

This project was a school assignment. We had to design a booklet without pictures based on a literary work, using text only. Joseph Heller’s book the Catch–22 is one of my favorite books of all time, so I choose that one. I kept the book’s structure and created the pages about the characters. Every major character got a single or a double page. I still wanted to use graphic imagery so I cheated. I literally used the text of the book (the hungarian version) to illustrate the chapters. Sometimes the compositions based on the scenes from the movie, other times I used stylized imagery.
